The survey was conducted in order to collect the opinions of parents participating in the testing of the project “Mental resilience of parents” co-financed by the Erasmus plus programme. Participation in the project consisted in the use of materials prepared on the educational platform on mental resilience and methods of supporting the well-being of parents. The materials included proposals for various trends and techniques to support well-being, according to the principle that each participant will choose the content that suits them best. The educational platform included: a guide, exercises and videos from webinars in the following areas:
- Introduction – where parental burnout comes from, as well as a brief description of all methodologies;
- Neuroscience – what a parent can learn about the nervous system and how it affects the quality of parenting;
- Self-regulation – how to notice stressors and what strategy to choose to deal with them better;
- Positive psychology – how to notice and build your resources, thanks to which you can better cope with everyday stress;
- Attachment Theory and Attachment Parenting – or how to take care of relationships with yourself and your children to find more understanding and gentleness in everyday life;
- Yoga – an ancient concept and exercises that help you regain a sense of peace and get to know yourself better;
- Meditation – that is, an ancient and modern approach to better insight into oneself and finding a sense of peace;
- Cognitive-behavioral approach – or how to notice and work on beliefs that can be additionally stressful;
- Mindfulness – i.e. exercises and practices that help in accepting thoughts, feelings, reality, etc., which leads to changes in the approach to them;
- Qigong – ancient exercises that release tension, give energy, improve concentration…
