The “Welcome!” project

Online preparatory school for children with a migrant background in the Erasmus+ project, school education partnership KA220-SCH-BC9B771F

About the project

The “Welcome!” project is a preparatory online school for children with a migrant background aimed at creating a “Welcome!” platform, which aims to integrate and include children with a migrant background living in Poland, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Greece into local educational systems. With the participation of a Ukrainian organisation, this project will focus on refugee children and their needs in new countries. It will help teachers to work in multicultural classrooms and to integrate children from different cultures and languages.

For 30 months, 6 organizations from 5 countries will work on the creation and implementation of the “Welcome!” platform, which includes multimedia integration activities, language and cultural courses for school children (10-14 years old) and a multimedia guide for teachers.

To achieve our goal, consortium experts, educators and researchers will collaborate among themselves, as well as engage teachers and education authorities to participate in the pilot program, as well as in promotional events, workshops, meetings and the final conference.
