Conference “Weaving the thread of understanding, peer mediation”

Nov 9, 2023 | Bez kategorii

Conflicts are a part of life. At home, at school, at work. Is it possible to teach how to deal with them in a constructive way?

We are convinced that YES. And that there are specific skills that can be taught to ourselves and our children so that we can create real and deep relationships and be able to cope and reach out for support in times of conflict.

We cordially invite you to a conference summarizing the nearly two-year project “Communication Building Understanding” carried out by the Understanding Foundation from Krakow together with the Icelandic partner Art of Living.

During the meeting:

● we will tell you what peer mediation is,
● we will present design materials,
● we will show you how to use them,
● we will draw attention to the benefits and pitfalls of teaching mediation,
● We will give ideas for building a system of conflict resolution at school.

Participation in the Gala will also be an opportunity to meet the authors of the project:

Marta Kułaga – Certified trainer of Nonviolent Communication (www.cnvc.org), coach (2013-2014 School of Professional Coaching, 2015 Needs-based Coaching), graduate of the School of Trainers of Empathy-Based Communication (2010-2013), mediator (2016-2017 Yoram Mozenson Mediation Course), facilitator of dialogue and support in resolving group conflicts.
